Vander Treiser Opera Competition

Highlands Opera Studio/Theatre General & Co-Artist Director, Valerie Kuinka, and Co-Artistic Director, Richard Margison, are thrilled to announce the inaugural VANDA TREISER OPERA COMPETITION taking place on October 11th, 2026.
This new annual competition for opera singers of all voice types is possible through a generous donation by VANDA TREISER INITIATIVES.
The LIVE FINAL ROUND will take place on Sunday, October 11th, 2:30pm at Trinity-St.Paul’s United Church, 427 Bloor Street West, Toronto.
