Hélène Picard
Mezzo-Soprano
Noted for her skills in the baroque repertoire, Hélène Picard is scheduled in many concerts as a soloist and is known for her interpretation of the roles of Diane (Actéon), Spring and The second Fairy (The Fairy Queen), Cupidon (Venus and Adonis), Second woman, Spirit and Second witch (Dido and Aeneas) In the fall of 2021, she participated for the first time in the Montreal Bach Festival. In the midst of her vocal career, Hélène has just performed the role of Carmen in La Tragédie de Carmen under the direction of Jean-François Rivest and directed by François Racine. Soon to be a doctoral student in interpretation at the University of Montreal, Hélène also holds a Bachelor's degree in Modern Literature and Cinema from Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle and in Music from Paris VIII.
